The systems we have built include a global distribution system, geospatial search engine, high-performance digital platforms and automated kiosks.
Our solutions are based on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, blockchain and computer vision for predictive analytics. We wanted all Indians to have the ability to use Malayalam language in digital computing. Our Mission was to raise Malayalam and Indic language technology to international standards.
We undertook various initiatives towards this cause. We released the first Unicode Malayalam font 'Rachana', which was used by multiple open-source teams, as well as corporates like Microsoft, Yahoo, Malayala Manorama and Mathrubhumi. The success prompted us to launch the first Malayalam Desktop OS named 'Rachana Malayalam OS'.
We played an important role in developing the Malayalam Unicode standards. One of the significant contributions was to create the first fully-computable and linguistically correct sort order for Malayalam. It was integral for implementing the Malayalam in database structures.
Our founder created PeopleSpeak.in during India Against Corruption (IAC) strikes in 2011. We had launched the website to support Anna Hazare, IAC team and everyone involved in this fight against corruption.
We noticed that many people wanted to participate in the protest against Sarkari Lokpal, but they lack the information on local events for this. Through a map-based interface, citizens could record the locations and dates of protests at various places. They could also share with others on Facebook.
PeopleSpeak.in initiative was covered by leading newspapers and also by IAC.
